With many thanks to your wonderful nurse, Renee' and to Lynn. My father was as Port during his final days. Lynn was there very often and had such compassion in caring for him. Renee' was also so great. With great gratitude.
The O'Donnell Family-
Harborside Hospice took care of my Brother Jim for the last few months of his life. I was so pleased with the attention and the care he received. The nursing assistant, Lynn, was with him almost every day and his nurse, Renee, was so nice and understanding. She kept me informed constantly and prepared me for each step in his decline. Harborside provided him with all the medical equipment he needed and he was very comfortable. The Social Worker helped me make all of his funeral arrangements and the Chaplain has been checking on me since he passed. I don’t know what I would have done without them. I just want to thank all of the staff at Harborside for all of the wonderful care they provided to Jim and all the help and support they have given me.
Freda B. " Nyla was amazing! She truly is an asset to the company. Nyla is caring, soft, and an excellent caregiver. She is one of the best aides I have seen. Nurse Jen was excellent too. If we had issue she resolved them ASAP. Nyla and Jen made the last weeks of my Nanny's life comfortable and peaceful. That is all our family could have hoped for. If possible, acknowledge these wonderful people through employee recognition or employee of the month. "
P. Moskevitz"Harborside Hospice,
With sincere thanks to Chris, Karla and Robert for the care and support given to Barbara at the Rochester Manor as she prepared to enter the care of our Lord. You made sure she was comfortable to the end and that was very important to all of us. With much appreciation"
The Simon FamilyDear Harborside Hospice staff,
I would like to extend my sincere thanks to those of you who cared for my sister. You certainly made her final months more comfortable and bearable. Where she could no longer read, she loved being read to. She also enjoyed the visits from Chaplain Bob. Thanks so much for meeting her physical, intellectual and spiritual needs. It was so appreciated! Gratefully,
Diane LawDear Chaplain Bob,
Over the past year, since my sister was admittedto hospice, you have been an incredible source of comfort to both of us. I so appreciated your phone calls to me and the time spent visiting with her. I will never be able to thank you enough for the caring and concern that you extended to my sister in her final days. It was at your initiation that a priest was called to administer the last rights. I'm convinced that brought significant peace to her and enabled her to transition from this world as serenely as she did. Your vocation isn't easy, but it is so powerfuland you do it well. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Warmest reguards
Diane"I honestly don't know how I would have made it through my mothers last days, especially her last, without your incredible care, compassion and sense of humor. You were/are truly a God-send. The dignity you gave my mother was exemplory and I will forever be grateful to you. Thank you SO much for being there during my mothers last few hours. I was so fortunate to have met you and share my mothers passing with you."
Denise"I wanted to extend my appreciation and thanks for the special care that you gave to my sister. Especially to Renee, Shawna, Sister Helen and Nyla. They all made this difficult time easier!"
Susan"To my friends at Harborside Hospice. Thank you so much for sending the beautiful flowers. Your kindness and thoughfulness meant so much to me during this difficult time. I truly appreciate all of your support."
Kim"In memory of my mom who was a resident at Port Healthcare and passed away. During the last few weeks of her life she was involved with Harborside Hospice. The hospice nurse, Justin, and her CNA, Lynn, along with her social worker, Trish, were phenomenal in helping her and our family navigate this end of life journey. They kept us informed and gave us much needed advice, which in the end became invaluable. This outstanding team is truly an outstanding asset to your organization. Again, thank you for all you did to support our family at this difficult time."
Debbie M.Dear Lynn, Thank you so much for showing so much love to our Mom and my family. Your kindness is so appreciated. It was a pleasure meeting you and spending time with you. Mom is at peace now so I am confident she is resting and reuniting with her son and mine in heaven. Big hugs, I will miss seeing you and your smile. Thank you. XO
LisaLynn,
I just wanted to say thank you so much for all you do for Linda. She truly enjoys when you take the time to sit and talk to her. I know you have a lot to do on your shift and you still take the time to visit her. You are a special person!!
Again, Thank you so much!
JimLynn,
There are no words to express how much your empathy and kindness meant to me, while caring for our beautiful Mom. We could not have asked for a better team taking care of her. She was treated with such grace and respect even when she was unconcious. My Mom was my world and thank you so much for the care and love you have given her. I am so lost without her in the physical world but I have peace knowing she is finally with her son and God. Much love.
